Soloist of National Ballet of China

Graduated from the School of NBC in 2023, Yan Mengxuan joined the National Ballet of China in the same year.

During her school years, she performed key roles in the ballet The Nine-Colored Deer, such as "The Little Girl," " Kalavinka," and " The Mini-Snake". She has created the work Farewell, My Free Bone for the 12th Ballet Workshop of National Ballet of China in 2022. While in the year 2020, she won the Scholar Contemporary (Female) Silver Medal and Scholar Classical (Female) Bronze Medal in the 7th South African International Ballet Competition (online). In 2022, she was awarded First Prize in Professional Category A at the 1st Ailian Youth Grand Prix.

Since entering NBC, Yan has danced the leading roles in Chinese and foreign ballets such as Roland Petit's L'Arlesienne and La Chauve-Souris, Ben Stevenson's CinderellaChinese New Year (The Nutcracker Chinese Version) and participated in the Company's repertoire like Swan Lake, The Red Detachment of Women, etc.

In 2023, she won the Gold Medal in Junior Females Division and the Best Couple Award in the 12th USA International Ballet Competition.
