Jia Qi graduated from the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music with master degree. At school, she won the Bronze Award in Group A of “Yangtze River Cup”, Yamaha Music Scholarship and Yang Jun Education Scholarship. She joined the National Ballet of China in April 2022. Served as a piano accompaniment, she is mainly responsible for the daily lessons and rehearsals of the School of NBC and the Dancers Team of NBC.

She participated in the choreography of the internship variation ballet works Don Quixote and Giselle of the School of NBC as well as Swan Lake and Jewels of the Dancers Team of NBC. She also participated in the public welfare performance Approaching Ballet of the Company and the internship report performance Chasing Dreams of the School of NBC and served as a live piano accompaniment in the exchange performance with Matsuyama Ballet of Japan.
