Deputy Director and Prima Ballerina of National Ballet of China

She joined the National Ballet of China in 1995. As the Prima Ballerina of NBC, she has danced various leading roles in almost all the repertoires of the Company, including Chinese ballets and foreign classics as well as modern ballet dramas and ballet works of different styles.

She has won awards at major international and domestic ballet competitions and performances, of which the most important ones are the Best Ballerina at the 19th Benois de la Danse (2011), a International Ballet Festival known as the "Oscar of the Dance World", the Gold Medal (Adult Group) and Special Prize for the Artistic Performance of the Mrs. President of Bulgaria in the 18th Varna International Ballet Competition (1998) and the Special Award in the 1st Nagoya International Ballet Competition (1993). She also won the silver medal in the Fourth Peach and Plum Cup Dance Competition (1994), the Association Award of the Paris Opera House in the 6th Paris International Ballet Competition (1994), the "Government Award for Chinese Culture and Arts -Wenhua Performance Award" (2010) as well as the Best Performance Award given by the Ministry of Culture in the Performing Competition of the National Art Troupes to celebrate the 50th National Day (1999 La Sylphide)and the Best Performance Award in the National Art Troupes Festival (2010 Onegin, 2011 Carmen, 2012 The Little Mermaid, 2013 Don Quixote). While in 2008 and 2010, she has won the Best Actress Award for Dance in the 1st and 3rd "The Tripod Award" and the Leading Actor Award in the 25th Shanghai Magnolia Drama Award in 2015 for her outstanding performance in The Little Mermaid.

As a guest artist, she has cooperated with a number of well-known ballet companies at home and abroad to dance the leading roles in many ballets and participate in ballet star gala. She has starred La Sylphide with The Royal Swedish Ballet in 1999, Swan Lake with the Royal New Zealand Ballet in 2002, La Sylphide with the Royal Danish Ballet in 2005, and Giselle in Hong Kong, at the invitation of the Hong Kong Ballet, in 2006. In addition, she has also been invited to attend the International Arts Festivals and Celebration Evenings as a guest ballet star, such as the Award Party of Paris International Ballet Competition in 1998, the Willie International Ballet Festival in USA. in 2000 and 2006, the Award Party of Shanghai International Ballet Competition in 2011, the Celebration Party to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Bournonville at the Royal Danish Ballet in 2005 as well as the Star Shows in Hungary and Slovakia in 2010, the United Nations Arts Festival in Geneva in 2007, Nijiinsky Gala of Hamburg Ballet in 2010 and 2011, and the Celebration Party for the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of Australian Ballet in 2012.

She has received lots of titles, including experts on special government allowances under the State Council, member of the 12th and 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the committee member of Senior Professional Dance Titles Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Culture (2012 and 2014) and the representative of Beijing Women's Congress (2014). She was selected to be one of the Top Ten Outstanding Youths of the Central Government Department (2008), Advanced Workers of the National Cultural System (2014), the third batch of the National Plan for Outstanding Young Scholars (2016), Outstanding Youth of the Ministry of Culture (2004), Skilled Youth Expert of the Ministry of Culture (2005) and so on.
