On July 15-16, accompanied by summer rain, the National Ballet of China's original ballet A Dream of Red Mansions returned to Nanjing, once again igniting a theatre frenzy at the Jiangsu Centre for the Performing Arts. The two performances were respectively led by Chen Zhuming (as Jia Baoyu), Fang Mengying (as Lin Daiyu) and Yu Xiaoting (as Xue Baochai) for the first day; while Li Wentao (as Jia Baoyu), Qiu Yunting (as Lin Daiyu) and Chen Haibei (as Xue Baochai) for the second.

Following the first performance, the lead cast greeted enthusiastic audiences in the theater lobby, signing autographs, interacting, and taking photos with Jiangsu audiences.

Next, we will present the Romantic masterpiece Giselle at Hangzhou Theater on July 19. With only one performance, classic ballet lovers absolutely won’t miss it!
