As the new year began, National Ballet of China brought its original ballet A Dream of Red Mansions to the stage of the Shanghai Wanping Theater, offering the audience three transcendent performances. After the curtain call, the three leading dancers portraying Jia Baoyu, Lin Daiyu, and Xue Baochai greeted the enthusiastic audience in the theatre lobby, signing autographs and posing for photos. Audiences of all ages expressed their love for the dancers and their heartfelt appreciation for the exquisite performances.
