Hands in Hands | 2024 The 1st NBC Youth Dance Camp Ended Successfully

From July 2nd to 6th, the 1st "NBC Youth Dance Camp was held in full swing! Eighty-four Taiwan teachers and students, gathered in NBC to complete this rewarding learning tour with rich emotional experience.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Art Department, the Taiwan Affairs Division of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, and the cooperation of the Taipei Art &Culture Association, this NBC Dance Camp was successfully launched. Over the past five days, we made a special course for students of Taiwan.

At the opening ceremony, Director Feng Ying extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students from Taiwan.

President Zhuang Meiqiang expressed excitedly that the first NBC Dance Camp was of great significance to teachers and students in Taiwan.

In the discussion and exchange on the evening of July 4th, teachers and students sat around in circles, sharing the warm-hearted details and interesting things of participating in this activity.

On July 6th, Taiwan students and excellent young dancers from NBC presented a wonderful and touching report performance.

Yan Mengxuan and Shen Lexuan, young dancers of NBC, staged excerpts from Cinderella pas de deux.

After the performance, Director Feng Ying took to the stage to express her encouragement.

Chen Yuwen, an associate professor in the Department of Dance of Chinese Culture University, expressed her gratitude after the activity.

Cai Peirong, a student from Taiwan, made a speech at the closing ceremony as a student representative.

In this dance camp, we witnessed the growth and progress of the students, and also felt the charm and strength of ballet art. Let's look forward to our reunion in the next dance camp! Let's expect more students to fly their dreams here! Let's join hands and write a new chapter in cultural exchanges between the mainland and Taiwan with the artistic language of ballet!
