Last weekend (On November 29 and 30), the National Ballet of China staged the original ballet A Dream of Red Mansions at Chongqing Grand Theatre as scheduled. Qiu Yunting, Li Wentao, Xu Yan and Ma Xiaodong, the four prima ballerinas/premiere danseurs, who danced the leading roles in the two performances, joined hands with other NBC dancers to bring a deep and affectionate interpretation of the classic literary work.
