From September 4 to 5, at Honggutan Grand Theatre in Nanchang, Jiangxi, the National Ballet of China's classic ballet The Red Detachment of Women raised its curtain as scheduled, fulfilling the eager anticipation of both longtime fans and new audiences.

Highlights

Following the openingnight performance in Nanchang, the leading dancers came to the theater’s lobby to sign autographs, interact with the audience and pose for photos.

Carrying the warmth and admiration of Jiangxi audiences, these young artists of The Red Detachment of Women will take the stage again at the Beijing Shunyi Grand Theatre on September 12. They will continue to tell the story of courage and faith through this classic Chinese ballet, and we look forward to seeing you there.
