Li Jie graduated from Beijing Dance Academy in 2006 and entered the National Ballet of China in the same year.

She has danced the main characters in The Red Detachment of Women, Swan Lake, La Bayadère and Don Quixote. And she also danced many repertoires of the Company, like The Crane Calling, The Light of Heart, Songs and Dances of the Earth, Raise the Red Lantern, Sylvia, Onegin, The Peony Pavilion, The Nutcracker (Chinese Version), Le Corsaire, Carmen, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.3, Serenade, The Yellow River, The Firebird, Etudes, Pink Floyd Ballet, etc.

She has toured with the Company in Hong Kong and  Macau as well as many countries all around the world, such as such as UK, South Korea, Netherland, France, Germany, Australia, USA, Brazil,Russia, Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, Spain, Portugal, Japan and so on.
