Ning Long graduated from the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2018 and entered the National Ballet of China in the same year.
Since she entered NBC, she has played the role of "Sister Ying" in the ballet Yimeng, the "Fairy Godmother" in Ben Stevenson's Cinderella, starred in the symphony ballet The Yellow River, and danced in NBC's repertoires Swan Lake, The Crane Calling, The Red Detachment of Women, La Bayadère, Diamonds, Carmen, La Sylphide and Serenade, as well as Chinese and foreign ballet classics and new creations such as Grand Pas de Deux, Pas de Quatre, The Dying Swan, Hamlet, Treading the Lotus and Chasing After the Moon, Leaves in the Rain and Son and Daughter of the Grassland. In 2020, she danced the leading role in the original anti-epidemic ballet Flying Against the Wind.
In 2018, Ning Long participated in a series of performances of "top dancers in campus" organized by the China Dancers Association. In 2019, she participated in the performance of Boao Forum For Asia, and the recording of China Education Channel's "Aesthetic Education China". In the same year, she also participated in the performance Dunhuang Flying Apsaras at China Media Group Spring Festival Gala Evening with the Company.
