Ta Na graduated from the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2008 and joined the National Ballet of China in the same year. Then, she furthered her study at Beijing Dance Academy. With a bachelor degree in ballet performing, she became a ballet teacher of the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy in 2015. In 2019, Ta Na achieved a master's degree majored in ballet performing and teaching from Beijing Dance Academy and joined The School of the National Ballet of China and served as a ballet teacher for character dance.

In 2007, Ta Na won the Outstanding Performance Award in the Sino-Japanese Friendship Competition.
