Sun Siyuan graduated from the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy, majoring in Chinese Dance. And then he majored in Chinese Classical Dance in Beijing Dance Academy.

He has starred in many dance works like Ode to the Breeze, A Battle of Wits , Butterfly Lovers-Meeting in Pavilion, Drinking Alone Under the Moon and the dance drama Zhengyang Gate and Dancing for the People. He danced as a soloist in the “Special Dance Performance of the Third China-CEEC Capital Mayors Forum” at Serbia. In 2021, he won the “Outstanding Individual Award” in “The Great Journey”, a gala to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. He won the first prize in the youth group at the 12th National Dance Competition (Taoli Cup), the first prize in the Beijing Vocational Students Skills Competition, the second prize in the professional group at the 16th Beijing Dance Competition and the outstanding performance award in the 12th National Dance Competition.
