Invited by the "Second Central Conservatory of Music Yan'an May 23 Art Festival", National Ballet of China will participate in the online art exhibition of the festival on May 25, 18:05-19:22 with elaborately choreographed ballet excerpts presented online exclusively in commemoration of the 78th anniversary of the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art.

The sudden pandemic in 2020 presents us with an unprecedentedly daunting challenge. During the special period of the national fight against the pandemic, National Ballet of China played the unique charm of the art of the tiptoe. We have selected more than 20 ballet masterpieces, such as "The Red Detachment of Women", "Swan Lake", "Yellow River", "The Little Mermaid", "The Crane Calling", and "The Nine-Colored Deer", and so on, to pay sincere respect to the heroes of the fight against the pandemic, and offer a blessing to the brothers and sisters in Yan' an and the general audience of the country!

"Nurturing people with beauty and culture", during this year's festival, the " Lecture Hall on Aesthetic Education " column was grandly deployed and launched by the Ministry of Education through the official website of the Ministry of Education, Xinhua News Agency and other media. At the invitation of the Arts Festival, the Director of National Ballet of China Feng Ying will hold a fascinating online class on the beauty of ballet for primary and secondary school students in Ya'an and around the country on May 27.

In the course, Director Feng Ying will deliver the charm and fun of ballet art to Yan 'an and primary and secondary school students nationwide with an in-depth introduction and explanation, colorful dance theater passages and combing the veins of ballet development in China and abroad. Those contents would enable this class to inspire children to learn to discover beauty, perceive beauty and shape beauty, which may lay the foundation for creating a better life in the children's mind.
