On June 12, the National Ballet of China 2020 annual dancer assessment kicked off in the company's auditorium on the fourth-floor. All members of the company at all levels of nearly hundreds of dancers and piano accompanists participated in this assessment. Since 2008, the annual assessment of dancers has been set public to the audience; in 2012, the company created an annual assessment with the theme "Chasing Dreams". The novel form of audience participation and interaction was well received and appreciated. However, this year, due to the pandemic, the dancers had to take a break from the theatre and the audience for their annual assessment. But this did not deter the audience in any way. In this year's "Chasing Dreams" stage, every dancer still showed their charisma with full enthusiasm and rigorous professional attitude.
