From September 22 to 23, The Red Detachment of Women, the classical ballet of National Ballet of China was presented with great passion in the Opera House of National Centre for the Performing Arts. In this two performances, the ballet has been presented to the Beijing audience again for the first time after a long span of epidemic prevention and control. On top of that, it has played a significant role in the "2020 Zhongguancun Dance Festival".
The "2020 Zhongguancun Dance Festival" is the first large-scale art festival held in Beijing and the first dance festival in China under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control. As a proud milestone in the history of Chinese ballet, The Red Detachment of Women was specially invited to perform in this festival.
In the performances of September 22 and 23, "Qionghua" was performed respectively by Hou Shuang and Li Jie, "Hong Changqing" by She Zhaohuan and Zhang Tiao, "Company Commander" by Lu Na and Liu Xuechen, and "Lao Si" by Liu Kai and Zheng Yu. While, in both of the performances, "Xiao' e" was performed by Xie Huan, "Xiaopang" by Wang Hao, "Comrade in Arms" by Qiu Yunting, and "Nan Batian" by Li Ke.
