From October 17 to 19, two teams of artists of National Ballet of China visited Yecheng, Jiashi and Yingjisha County of Kashgar Prefecture and Aketao County, Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture to provide rich variety of public welfare performances to the cadres and the masses fighting on the frontline of poverty alleviation, boosting our morale of building our Chinese dreams together!

Visit to Yecheng

On October 16, artists of National Ballet of China arrived in their first station—Yecheng Country, a boarder country of China on the southwest border of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a place of military strategic importance on the western border of China and a key county for national poverty alleviation and development.

In the afternoon of October 17, artists of NBC went to the the Song and Dance Troupe of Yecheng County to practice and communicate with the local dancers.

The dancers from the Song and Dance Troupe of Yecheng County presented two folk dance works .

In response, the excellent dancer of NBC Ning Long presented Swan.

The excellent choreographer of NBC Zhang Zhenxin was attracted by the rehearse of performers from the Song and Dance Troupe of Yecheng County and brought an improvised dance with a music selection from the Uyghur World Intangible Cultural Heritage Twelve Muqam.

At 8:00 p.m., National Ballet of China Public Welfare Performance in Yecheng County kicked off in Kunlun Movie and Opera House, with over 400 audience including representatives of teachers and students from local primary and secondary schools, model workers, police officers, cadres of border assistance, public sanitation workers and mass representatives.

Répétiteur of NBC Yu Bo and the local host of Xinjiang Radio and Television Station co-hosted the performance.
