On October 19, the two teams of artists of National Ballet of China visited Yingjisha County of Kashgar Prefecture and Aketao County of Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture. With the mission of cultural promotion in Xinjiang, we gathered together and jointly depicted the beautiful picture of unity, endeavor and dreams through songs and dances!

In Aketao County, our performance attracted such a great crowd of local residences that the audience overwhelmed the venue and hundreds of audiences had to watch the performance through the live signals sent by the relay vehicle on the outdoor screen.

"I love dancing"— makes ballet closer to the audience's hearts

Xu Gang, Assistant Artistic Director, Ballet Master and General Répétiteur of the National Ballet of China and Répétiteur Yu Bo introduced ballet knowledges to the audience. Their humorous language and lively demonstration made ballet, an elegant art, closer to the audience's hearts.

Art is revitalized in communications

On the morning of October 19, Director Feng Ying was invited to visit the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Xinjiang "Dawaz" Protection Center and watched the amazing Dawaz (air acrobatics performance art) show.

Without any safety belts, students performed on the ropes with balance poles in hand, and even jumped forward in their special custom-made ballet toe shoes, astonishing everyone with their superb skills.

Director Feng Ying praised and encouraged every dancer, and invited students to watch the public welfare performance that night.

We hope to get more people attracted to Dawaz art and keep it glowing with vitality.
