In the night of November 21, artists of National Ballet of China presented the world classic ballet Jewels with high-standard skills to the audience of NCPA. However, behind the curtain, what the audience unknown is that one of the main characters got injured in the performance the day before. And in order to make the performance that night be presented as schedule, 10 dancers were playing several roles with short rehearsal, some even being sick. The stage dazzled ever brighter because of their perseverance for dedicating the classics to the audience!

After the performance, Deputy Director of the company Zhu Yan delivered congratulation and encouragement to the performers on the stage, and sent flowers to the 10 dancers: Xu Yan, Li Wentao, Lu Na, Fang Mengying, Hou Shuang, Chen Haibei, Liu Chang, Li Wen, Zhou Rui and Zheng Dudu.

At this moment, on the stage behind the curtain, the performers cared for each other and encouraged each other like family members, warming each other's hearts!

Principal Dancer Lu Na, who substituted Guan Wenting in emergency in "female solo" (one of the four soloist) in Diamonds, took only one night and a half day to prepare for a dance that she had never performed before. She showed the quality that only an expert performer who has worked hard on the stage for 20 years can possess, which showed the admirable "screw spirit" of not picking roles.

To avoid absence in the performance team, the make-up designer and other performer fellows helped Liu Chang for the make-up and changing costume.
