On the evening of December 16, the National Ballet of China once again performed La Bayadère, the pinnacle of classical ballet, at Tianqiao Theater. On the evening of the performance, three excellent dancers of NBC—Xu Yan as the bayadère "Nikiya", Li Wentao as the warrior "Solor", and Liu Xuechen as the princess "Gamzatti", made their debut in the ballet. Full of dramatic stage interpretation, they presented the characters vividly and delicately.
