On December 23, the artists of National Ballet of China performed the Chinese ballet Chinese New Year (The Nutcracker Chinese Version) in Hangzhou Grand Theatre. It was an early, gorgeous new year ballet GALA combining East and West, with the strong cast led by Prima Ballerina Zhang Jian, Premier Danceur Ma Xiaodong, and the music performance by Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra and the Children's Broadcast Choir of Zhejiang under the conduct of Liu Ju, the Resident Conductor of the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra.
