Performing video of New Year's Blessing Concert on January 17, 2021 in National Centre for the Performing Arts
At 19:30 on January 17, the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra presented a wonderful concert integrating Chinese and foreign music masterpieces to the audiences with New Year's blessings under the baton of Zhang Yi, the Music Director of National Ballet of China and the conductor in the Concert Hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts where the beautiful melody of the New Year's Chime Concert was still lingering around.
The concert began in Festive Prelude, the work of the Chinese composer Shi Wanchun
The orchestra performed A Beautiful Night, the classic work composed by folk music master Liu
Tianhua and adapted by conductor Huang Yijun
The China Premiere of Harp Concerto by the Italian composer Nino Rota was performed by the
Harpist Shi Qin, Harp Master of National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra
The Harpist Shi Qin performed an encore performance of Yellow- The Sun Rises, a song with a
refreshing beauty.
In the second half of the concert, conductor Zhang Yi and the orchestra performed the Symphony No. 3 in D Major, Op.29, "Polish".
