Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind. For this time, National Ballet of China brought the classic ballet The Red Detachment of Women to Xiamen for the "One Hundred Performances for the Centenary of the Founding of CPC" tour performance. On March 20, we held a theme activity of party history study and education with rich forms and profound contents with Banlam Grand Theater.
On the morning of that day, all members of the tour group, led by Director Feng Ying, first came to the Teenage Soldiers of the Eighth Route Arm Memorial Hall to visit and study.
He Mingquan, a captain of teenage soldiers of the Eighth Route Arm excitedly recounted their courageous deeds.
All the precious historical materials are military medals engraved with the glorious deeds of
heroic predecessors. NBC artists carefully observed and studied hard, and reverence arises
spontaneously.
All the observers sang We Are The Modern Socialists-to-be so loud, and everyone felt overwhelmed by excitement.
Ms. Li Yahua, the 16th generation of Southern Stone Carving Technique, explained the shadow
carving technique to the NBC artists.
After that, we went to Huihe Stone Cultural Park to carry out on-site learning, watch the Party history education video, and learn the traditional family rules and family training culture and the art of shadow carving and stone carving.
The artists were led by the interpreter to learn the family motto, correct themselves, view the
stone carvings and understand the craftsmanship.
Director Feng Ying and the artists were interested in learning the stone carving techniques.
Accompanied by Ms. Li Yahua, the 16th generation heir of the Southern Stone Carving Technique, the cast members had their first close encounter with the art of shadow carving, an excellent representative of the traditional folk craft of southern Fujian, which has been handed down for more than 300 years.
All cast members watched the documentary on the history of the Party and revisited the glorious history of the Party.
