At 19:30 on April 10, at the invitation of The 7th China Orchestra Festival, National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra will perform the concert "The Past Century: Years of Intense Emotion" in National Centre for the Performing Arts with Bian Zushan and Zhang Yi as the conductors and Tan Xiaotang as the pianist.
In this performance, conductor Zhang Yi will lead the orchestra to perform four music pieces of the renowned composer Guan Xia: Hope and Pursuit, from Symphony No. 1 (Act I), Allegro con brio, from Reborn from the Fire (Act I), Piano Concerto No.1 Founder and Symphonic Ballade.
At the end of the concert, Mr. Bian Zushan, the 85-year-old famous conductor and the former Principal Conductor of NBC, will once again conduct the orchestra to perform the everlasting classics-- Selections form The Red Detachment of Women.
