On May 2 at 10:30 a.m., the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra participated in the Weekend Concert of National Centre for the Performing Arts again after more than one year, under the baton of Music Director and conductor Zhang Yi. With the joint performance of Wang Yue, a young painted-face Beijing Opera actor from the National Peking Opera Company, we offered the audience excerpts once again from the orchestra's first original large-scale independent symphonic work-- Symphony of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, namely Three Fables, Three Stories and Three Symphonic Movements.
