Performing video of 2021 NCPA National Day Concert by Symphony Orchestra of NBC.
On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the NBC Symphony Orchestra took to the stage of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) on September 30 and October 1 to present the 2021 NCPA National Day Concert in tribute to the birthday of the motherland under the baton of Music Director and famous conductor Zhang Yi.
In the first half of the concert, the Orchestra performed the Ode to the Red Flag composed by Lyu Qiming, the Erhu concerto My Motherland arranged by the young composer Wang Danhong, and the Six Folk Songs from Around the World by the young composer Gong Tianpeng.
In the second half, the Orchestra presented The Charm of Beijing by composer Yu Jingjun, the symphonic poem Bayan Har, Op.50 by the Chinese composer Huang Anlun, Long Live the Chinese People and March of the Volunteers.
