On the night of October 28, the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra performed a concert themed "Music of Post Romanticism" in the Concert Hall of National Centre for the Performing Arts, under the baton of the famous conductor, the Music Director of NBC Zhang Yi.

The concert began with Old Wine by young composer Liu Yuhui.
The highlight of the concert was the solo performance of Cello Concerto created by Edward Elgar by cellist Xu Xuanhan.

Cellist Xu Xuanhan gave an encore performance of Chopin: Nocturne Op.20 in C sharp minor adapted version in response to the rapturous applause in the auditorium.
In the second half of the concert, the Orchestra performed Symphony No. 1 by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius under the baton of conductor Zhang Yi.
