Performing video of Cinderella in National Centre for the Performing Arts on December 1
On December 1, the first performance of this round of ballet Cinderella by National Ballet of China was presented in National Centre for the Performing Arts, which marks the first performance of NBC in Beijing since the newly round outbreak of the epidemic, and also the first performance at the invitation of NCPA in the Opera House of NCPA since August last year, as well as the first performance of the 5th China International Ballet Season in the theater.
Before starting, the Prima Ballerina of NBC Cao Shuci came back to the stage and gave a pre-performance guide to the audience of all ages.
In the performance that night, the Principal Dancers of NBC Wang Ye and Chen Zhuming took the characters “Cinderella” and “Prince” respectively, and male dancers Wu Siming and Su Yang made cross-gender performances as the two stepsisters. And the Symphony Orchestra of NBC provided excellent live music performance under the lead of Concert Master Wang Xiaomao and the baton of Music Director of NBC Zhang Yi.
