On July 14, National Ballet of China presented the classic ballet Swan Lake in the newly completed theatre of China National Opera House.

In this performance, NBC appointed Fang Mengying to perform as "White Swan (Odette)/ Black Swan (Odile)" and Chen Zhuming as "Prince Siegfried", and assigned Music Director of NBC Zhang Yi as the conductor and Concert Master Wang Xiaomao as the orchestra lead.
