On September 15, the National Ballet of China's ballet Chinese New Year (The Nutcracker Chinese Version) was presented at the Tianqiao Theater as the first performance of the "Autumn Galas – NBC's Autumn Season Show" in Beijing!

Cao Shuci, the Prima Ballerina of NBC, chaired the performance.

Principal Dancer Fang Mengying danced as "Yuan Yuan" for the first time.

Li Mengfei, an outstanding young dancer of NBC, danced as "Yuan Yuan (Kid)" for the first time.

Shen Mengfan, an outstanding young dancer of NBC, danced as "Tuan Tuan" in Chinese New Year for the first time.

The NBC Symphony Orchestra is led by Concertmaster Wang Xiaomao under the instruction of Music Director Zhang Yi.

Chinese New Year will continue at the Tianqiao Theater from September 16-18, with Zhao Xinyue and Guan Chongzheng making their debut. In addition, on November 6, the NBC Symphony Orchestra will present a concert at the Concert Hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) themed on "Music and Dance in the Artistic Road" as a special commemoration of Zhang Yi's 2-decade career in NBC as Music Director.
