On August 31, National Ballet of China performed the Ballet GALA in the Forbidden City Concert Hall, Beijing.

Shi Qin, Deputy Director and Harp Principal of NBC Symphony Orchestra, together with violinist Zhou Jing, Cello Principal Wang Shuyi, and the woodwind quintet, presented music of different styles. More than 20 excellent young dancers, such as Principal Dancers Wang Ye, Zhan Xinlu, and Soloists Sun Yimeng, Liu Xuechen, Li Jie and She Zhaohuan, appeared on stage to present ballet classics.

Before the performance started and in between performance, Xu Gang, Assistant Artistic Director, Ballet Master and General Répétiteur of the National Ballet of China, gave some detailed and insightful explanations for the programs.
