Under the conduct of Zhang Yi, the Music Director of the National Ballet of China and a well-known conductor, NBC Symphony Orchestra and the Chorus of China Ex-serviceman Art Troupe, performed all the music of the ballet The Red Detachment of Women in the form of a concert version at the National Centre for the Performing Arts on the evening of March 3.

The concert was opened in the universally acclaimed march melody of The Song of the Detachment.

The second scene of the ballet was kicked off by the exciting chorus of The Song of the Detachment.

After the half-time, the fourth scene with the most popular music melody began.

In the warm applause of the audience, Conductor Zhang Yi, the NBC Symphony Orchestra and the Chorus of China Ex-serviceman Art Troupe returned to the stage to perform The Beautiful Wanquan River, and a chorus rang out from the audience. In the coming March 7 to 12, the National Ballet of China will once again perform The Red Detachment of Women at Beijing Tianqiao Theater.
