On March 17, National Ballet of China staged Ballet Gala-Two in One in China National Opera House, which added more wonderful moments to NBC "2023 Spring Ballet Season". In the first half of the performance, Zhao Xinyue and Yan Hualong, the excellent young dancers of NBC, acted as the leading roles of L'arlesienne. In the second half, Carmen was brilliantly presented by Qiu Yunting, the Prima Ballerina of NBC, Ma Xiaodong, the Premier Danseur of NBC. Fan Ni, the guest conductor conducted these two classic works for the first time, and led the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra together with Liu Xiaohuan, the associate concert master.
