In the 13th Ballet Workshop, the finale work is excerpts from the symphonic ballet Ode to Joy, an annual grand work of the National Ballet of China. The choreographers of this work are three outstanding young creative talents of NBC: Li Yang, Zheng Yu and Wang Qi.

The fourth movement of the newly-created symphony ballet Ode to Joy will be presented in this Workshop. In this work, the prima ballerinas and première danseur, as well as NBC's backbones are gathered, such as Ma Xiaodong, Zhan Xinlu, Fang Mengying, Sun Ruichen, Chen Zhuming and other dancers who are widely loved by the audience, to present wonderful performances in this work.

In this Workshop, Li Yang not only plays the role of choreographer, but also is the general director of the Workshop this year.
