For Zhang Qi, Ballet Workshop is a wonderful platform. He expressed: "Thanks to our Company for giving us so much support behind the scenes. When you start the creation on this platform, many people in the Company take the initiative to help you, share ideas with you sincerely and give you advice, which makes me feel at ease."

In this year, Zhang Qi participated in the Ballet Workshop with his work named Memories, which is his choreography debut. He saw the state of an old woman who was coming to the end of her life in the hospital, which inspired him to create this work. In order to show the flow of life, Zhang Qi chose Vivaldi's well-known violin concerto The Four Seasons as the music of this work.

Zhang Qi said: "The support of the creative team is indispensable for the successful completion of the work. I would like to thank He Yuyun, the stage designer, Han Song, the light designer, and Yue Songshan, the costume designer, for their help for me to complete this work."
