On May 13, National Ballet of China once again brought an art popularization activity Approaching Ballet to the audience at Beijing Tianqiao Theater.

Before the performance, Zhang Tiao, a member of the Art Education Department of NBC hosted the 

lively and interesting "Ballet Salon" in the front hall of the theater.

The activity was hosted by Wang Qimin, the Prima Ballerina of NBC. The youngest trainee dancers of NBC showed the audience their daily training scenes, and the rehearsal process of excerpts from Le Corsaire. Yin Yue and Bai Yijie brought wonderful piano accompaniment to the performance. Later, three groups of dancers performed classic pas de deux of different styles and genres for the audience with makeup.
