On July 19, National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra, under the conduct of Zhang Yi, the Music Director of NBC and a famous conductor, will stage a concert on the theme of “Shining together” at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, bringing the audience a different summer music experience with three masterpieces of Chinese and foreign music.
The Birds consists of five movements, and the musical theme of each movement originates from the creation of an early composer. At the same time, each movement also corresponds to and imitates the sounds of a specific bird, which is really amazing.
The Fire Bird Suite originated from the seven most representative passages of the ballet Fire Bird. National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra has not only performed The Fire Bird Suite in concerts for many times, but also cooperated with the excellent ballet dancers of NBC to perform the ballet Fire Bird. And it is rare for a symphony orchestra in China to interpret both the whole ballet score and concert suite. The performance brought by Director Zhang Yi’s collaboration with National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra at the National Centre for the Performing Arts is well worth watching.
In Skills Doctor, the audience will get a close look at this masterpiece which combines Beijing Opera and Symphony and inherits the two kinds of “quintessences of Chinese culture” of Beijing Opera and traditional Chinese medicine in an innovative way.
National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra will vividly interpret the theme of “Shining Together” in this concert with these three works, which are from multiple perspectives and with different styles. Welcome to enter the National Centre for the Performing Arts on July 19 to experience the audio-visual feast brought by the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra!
