Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra gave the wonderful live music performance, under the conduct of Zhang Yi, the Music Director of the National Ballet of China and Artistic Director of Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Wang Xiaomao, the Assistant Music Director of NBC, Concert Master of NBC Symphony Orchestra.

On July 2, Xu Gang, Assistant Artistic Director, Ballet Master of the National Ballet of China, was invited to give a master class on art popularization to the art lecture of Shanghai Grand Theatre, and told the story of the ballet The Little Mermaid in detail. Zhan Xinlu, one of the performers of The Little Mermaid, also showed some excerpts of the ballet.
After a short break, NBC’s artists will once again devote themselves to the rehearsal of the ballet A Dream of Red Mansions. From July 13 to 16, NBC will present wonderful performances of A Dream of Red Mansions at the Opera House of the National Centre for the Performing Arts.
