On the evening of July 19, National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra, under the conduct of Zhang Yi, the Music Director of NBC and a famous conductor, once again participated in the annual series concerts of “Roam in the Classics” at the National Centre for the Performing Arts. This time, the NBC Symphony Orchestra concert composed of three masterpieces of Chinese and foreign music brought the audience a different and unforgettable summer art experience.

The first piece played at the concert was the orchestral suite The Birds by Italian composer Ottorino Respighi.

Next, NBC Symphony Orchestra presented The Fire Bird Suite by Russian composer Stravinsky, which is more modern in music language and auditory effect, and brings the audience an extremely vivid audio-visual experience.

After presenting two masterpieces of western music, in the second half of the concert, NBC Symphony Orchestra and the outstanding young Peking Opera artists of the National Peking Opera Company jointly presented the original symphonic Peking Opera Skills Doctor to the audience.

In the third movement, five characters took the stage together to express the doctors’ benevolence, the ambitious plan for bringing prosperity to the nation and security to the people, and the audience burst into warm and lasting applause and cheers for their performance.
