Ode to Joy, the symphonic ballet newly created by National Ballet of China, will be grandly premiered at Beijing Tianqiao Theater from November 17 to 19, marking the 10th anniversary of the “China International Ballet Season” sponsored by NBC.

Mr. Zhu Hai said with emotion when he talked about Beethoven’s well-known Symphony No.9 in d Minor, Op.125. In his view, this work created by National Ballet of China shows its expression of current significance and cultural innovation from three aspects:

First of all, NBC’s decision to create this work is forward-looking.

Secondly, this work sends an appeal for peace to the whole world in the form of art.

Last but not least, this work fits the core of the concept of “a community with a shared future for mankind”.
