On November 17, the latest symphonic ballet Ode to Joy created by NBC was successfully premiered. Director Feng Ying took the stage to congratulate all the dancers and staff.

Before the premiere, Director Feng Ying shared the profound ideas and wonderful highlights of Ode to Joy with the media friends.

Zhang Yi, the Music Director of NBC, conducted National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra to bring a wonderful interpretation of Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 in d Minor, Op.125.

Four guest vocal soloists Guo Chengcheng, Wang Hongyao, Zhao Yulong and Liu Songhu brought wonderful solo performances.

The specially invited China National Symphony Orchestra Chorus also presented a magnificent chorus performance.

At the end of this performance, the audience created a ‘starry sky’ with cell phone flash, leaving a precious and brilliant premiere memory with all the artists!

After the performance, eight leading dancers signed autographs and took photos with enthusiastic audience.

At the evening performance on November 18 and the afternoon performance on November 19, NBC will present the last two performances of the first round of the symphonic ballet Ode to Joy at Beijing Tianqiao Theater. We are looking forward to your coming!
