HAPPY NEW YEAR

At the end of 2023, National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra under the conduction of Zhang Yi, the Music Director of NBC and famous conductor, performed the “New Year’s Chime Concert” as scheduled, which was held for the 12th consecutive year. In addition, NBC Symphony Orchestra also presented two New Year’s music feasts at the National Centre for the Performing Arts on the evening of December 30 and the afternoon of January 1.

The first New Year’s concert of NBC Symphony Orchestra was kicked off by composer Shi Wanchun’s Festival Prelude.

In the last part of the concert, NBC Symphony Orchestra presented another two music pieces to give back the warm applause of the audience.

At 23:00 on the evening of December 31, the much-anticipated “NCPA New Year’s Chime Concert” was held again. National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra under the conduction of Zhang Yi, performed a brand new set of tracks.

At 14:30 on the first day of 2024, NBC Symphony Orchestra staged the 2024 New Year's Concert under the conduction of Zhang Yi in the NCPA.

Great Unity of the Chinese Nation from Rhapsody of the Motherland by composer Yu Jingjun, once again won warm applause from the audience.。

The concert ended in Johann Strauss I’s Radsky March with joyful rhythm.
