This year marks the 60th anniversary of the premiere of ballet The Red Detachment of Women, a milestone work in the history of Chinese ballet. NBC will launch the national tours of 60 performances as celebration.

After the first performance at Hainan, Director Feng Ying gave an encouragement to all the cast and crew of NBC affectionately.

Wang Bin, member of the Standing Committee of Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Minister of Publicity Department, gave a speech after watching the first performance.

Director Feng Ying and Li Jie, the performer of Qionghua, presented the "Statue of The Red Detachment of Women" to Hainan Performing Arts Group with gratitude.

Han Chaoguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Hainan Performing Arts Group, offered congratulations to NBC after the second performance.

On March 2nd and 3rd, thousands of audience came to Hainan Provincial Song and Dance Theater in Haikou in the drizzling weather to witness the 60th anniversary performance of classic Chinese ballet The Red Detachment of Women brought by NBC.
