Director Feng Ying delivered a speech at the special event hold in Hainan Province, the birth place of the Red Detachment of Women, for the 60th anniversary of the premiere of the ballet The Red Detachment of Women.

On behalf of the Company, Director Feng Ying presented the costumes and the props of the ballet as memorable exhibits to the Red Detachment of Women Memorial Hall.

On the morning of March 1st, 2024, the special event hold in Hainan Province, the birth place of the Red Detachment of Women, for the 60th anniversary of the premiere of NBC's ballet The Red Detachment of Women, hosted by NBC, Publicity Department of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and CPC Qionghai Municipal Committee, and jointly organized by Hainan Performing Arts Group and Red Detachment of Women Memorial Gardens, was held in the Red Detachment of Women Memorial Gardens.

Lu Haiying, Vice Minister of Publicity Department of Hainan Provincial Committee, delivered a speech.

Chen Xingxing, Deputy Secretary of Qionghai Municipal Committee, delivered a speech.

Young artists from NBC presented the audience in Qionghai with classic excerpts from "The Soldiers and Civilians are of One Family" in The Red Detachment of Women.

Director Feng Ying extended regards to the veterans.

Director Feng Ying and representatives of dancers together with other guests, including Wang Shumao, winner of the July 1 Medal, planted a "hero" kapok tree and visited the Red Detachment of Women Memorial Hall.

They signed autographs for the visitors as a souvenir.

The first temporary Party branch of NBC in the domestic tour organized a ceremony for the new party members to take an oath of admission and other party members to renew the oath at the Red Detachment of Women Memorial Hall.

NBC will stage two consecutive performances to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the premiere of The Red Detachment of Women at Hainan Provincial Song and Dance Theater on March 2nd and 3rd in Haikou.
