After the performance, Xie Feng, Ambassador of China to the United States, expressed his congratulations to Director Feng Ying and five dancers of NBC.

On the evening of June 21st, local time in the United States, the weeklong Dance Art Festival 10,000 Dreams: A Celebration of Asian Choreography-Special One-Night-Only Event in the famous John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, reached its climax. At the warm invitation of the Center, Director Feng Ying led five excellent young dancers to participate in this grand event.

10,000 Dreams: A Celebration of Asian Choreography is the first international dance festival planned and held by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Kennedy Center), focusing on Asian dance artists. As the only invited Chinese Dance Company, National Ballet of China has attracted much attention.

Jane Raleigh, co-planner of 10,000 Dreams and Director of Dance Programming in the Kennedy Center expressed her sincere thanks to Director Feng Ying for leading the dancers to participate in the art festival in spite of the busy schedule as well as the much importance NBC has attached to this performance.

Phil Chan, the co-planner of 10,000 Dreams and Chinese dance artist, also expressed his appreciation to Dear Director Feng Ying for leading the National Ballet of China to attend the art festival by traveling a long distance and to the excellent dancers of NBC.

Wu Zujie and his wife, Ms. Zhang Lingyi, the first-generation of NBC principal dancers aged 85, expressed their praise and affirmation to NBC and the young dancers.
