On August 30th, NBC once again staged the classic Jewels by George Balanchine. Prima ballerina Qiu Yunting, as well as the principal dancers Xu Yan, Fang Mengying, Zhan Xinlu, Li Wentao, Wu Sicong and Chen Zhuming played roles in different movements, and joined hands with corps de ballet became the wonderful "jewels" with different colors. Under the baton of the Music Director Zhang Yi and led by the Concert Master Wang Xiaomao, National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra, brought a wonderful live music performance. The guest pianist Tan Xiaotang also presented a vivid piano solo.

On the evening of August 31st and the afternoon of September 1st, NBC will continue to stage the symphonic ballet Jewels at Beijing Tianqiao Theater, adding a touch of gorgeous color to the perfect ending of NBC “2024 Summer Ballet Season”.
