On April 19th, under the conduct of Zhang Yi, the music director of NBC and a famous conductor, NBC Symphony Orchestra joined hands with violinist Gao Shen to stage a themed concert in the Ninth China Orchestra Festival in the Concert Hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, presenting three excellent orchestral works at home and abroad to the audience. In particular, conductor Zhang Yi and NBC Symphony Orchestra will bring the Chinese premiere of the Young Guards Suite by Soviet music master Dmitri Dmitrievich Shostakovich in this concert to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the composer's death.
