Following the successful debut of Chinese New Year in São Paulo, Yu Peng, Consul General of China in São Paulo, congratulated the National Ballet of China on the complete success.

On October 19 (local time), Chinese New Year by the National Ballet of China at Teatro Bradesco in São Paulo concluded triumphantly after four days of five warmly received performances, marking a perfect end to the Company’s tour in Brazil.

It is worth mentioning that the National Ballet of China specially invited local São Paulo dancer Victor Hugo Barreto to play the role of the "Foreign Friend" in the performances.

During the final curtain call, the children participating in the performances burst into tears of emotion.
