On the evening of March 12, 2026, the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay in Singapore was dazzling with lights and bustling with excitement as the National Ballet of China kicked off its tour in the Lion City with the original ballet A Dream of Red Mansions.

Following the successful premiere, Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Cao Zhongming and Counsellor Cai Shandi had a warm exchange with all the cast and crew from NBC.
