Zhang Jian, the "National Woman Pace-setter"

On December 14, 2020, the senior official of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and chairman of Work Committee for Organizations directly under the organ Guan Hongwen and her team came to the Tianqiao Theater on behalf of the Party Group of the Ministry, and presented the certificate of "National Woman Pace-setter" to Zhang Jian, the Deputy Director and Prima Ballerina in the presence of the entire cast and staff. This is the highest honor awarded to the artists of National Ballet of China by the All-China Women's Federation to outstanding women in our country.

Zhang Jian is one of the outstanding representatives of many virtuoso artists with both moral and artistic merits cultivated by the National Ballet of China. Now she is the Prima Ballerina of National Ballet of China, Deputy Director pf the company and the Vice President of the Dance School of NBC. Also, she was a delegate to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. And now, on behalf of the company, she has been awarded the title of "National Woman Pace-setter".
