At the important historical moment of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the large-scale original ballet Yimeng of National Ballet of China will be premiered from December 26 to 28 at Beijing Tianqiao Theatre, as a profound tribute to the great Communist Party of China.
As we went deeper into the old areas of Yimeng, we were more deeply touched by the "Yimeng spirit" that has inspired the whole land of Yimeng.
In 2017, the artists visited a 104 years old lady Zhang Shuzhen, the daughter-in-law of Red Sister Wang Huanyu.
The young dancers visited Yimeng, the hometown of the Red Sisters to learn and experience for themselves to inject soul into their stage interpretations.
